one of my very best friends is having a baby.
in town from new york and on a tight timeline, i spent the evening of my birthday doing this session, and it was magical. i was always curious about the dresses from reclamation i've seen online, and hoo boy this one did not disappoint. this was the 'magic maker' and i think the name speaks for itself - it photographed more beautifully than i ever imagined.

thinking of what to wear to your maternity session? the answer is whatever you're comfortable in. however, if you'd like to lean into the magic of what your body is capable of and feel like the beautiful, powerful goddess you are, try a long dress!
my usual stance on any photoshoot is that you can never be too dressed up, and this is absolutely no exception. dresses drape and flow in a way that is flattering to every single body. if you're thinking about it, ask me! i have recommendations and i can help!
